I’ve learned so many things and I feel I’ve grown…It’s shown me what’s out there. I’d thought that maybe I’d follow a specific professional or commercial route, but it’s shown me another option; that you can keep yourself as you are without compromising….MIF has definitely been the highlight of my year.

Manchester International Festival (MIF) is the world’s first biennial festival of original, new work and special events and takes place biennially, in Manchester, UK. The festival launched in 2007 as an artist-led, commissioning festival presenting new works from across the spectrum of performing arts, visual arts and popular culture.

Over the past decade MIF has established a reputation for ambitious participatory commissions developed under the banner of MIF Creative. Many of these commissions have included exciting and innovative music projects with young people from across Greater Manchester.
