I write about how I feel, what’s inside of me; and that’s how I’ve gotten the best out of myself [as a songwriter]. Manchester Camerata put young performers on a platform, so they can perform and share their music with the world. It’s been really great for that.

Manchester Camerata is ‘probably Britain’s most adventurous orchestra’ (The Times) and a Registered Charity, with a restless ambition to redefine what an orchestra can do. Our pioneering Camerata in the Community programme is at the heart of the orchestra’s work, with projects covering three specialist areas: schools, health and wellbeing, and the youth programme. Projects are backed by academic research, which supports the development of activity for people of all ages and backgrounds across the North West.
