LIVE MUSIC NOW

A fantastic participatory concert. The musicians moved around the entire assembly hall and all children thoroughly enjoyed the experience. A child with PMLD (profound and multiple disabilities) woke up out of a deep sleep and smiled whilst the musical piece changed.

Live Music Now is a national charity founded in 1977 by Yehudi Menuhin. We take inspiring performances, workshops and projects into community settings including hospitals, special schools and residential units. We select the most talented musicians emerging into the profession and, during their time on the scheme, aim to enhance their skills, equipping them to deliver interactive sessions focused on the needs and enjoyment of the participants.
