Brighter Sound

For me Friday was more than just a workshop – it was a spiritual thing. As for the cypher with Kendrick, it’s something that was on my bucket list and something as an artist I will cherish forever. Thank you Brighter Sound for one of the best workshops I’ve ever been to.

Brighter Sound is a creative music charity based in Manchester. We create opportunity, support creativity, stimulate debate and link into the heart of how music is made and experienced in the 21^st century. For almost 20 years we have been working across the city (and beyond) to support music creators at all stages of their musical journey – from early years to early careers. As a founder organisation of the Alliance for a Musically Inclusive England, we specialise in embedding and promoting equity in music education to make sure that all young people can realise their potential and deal with some of the big issues facing them today – such as mental health, isolation and social inequality.
