Manchester Libraries

As a band we see Manchester Central Library as the brain of the city; the place where a vast collection of often contradictory interpretations reside and are presented impartially.
Jeremy Pritchard, Everything Everything.

The Henry Watson Music Library is a department of Manchester Libraries and housed in the Central library. It is one of the oldest and largest public music libraries in the UK with more than 200,000 volumes of music and books on music available for loan. It also comes with a 21st century twist with 3 digital pianos, a digital drum kit, two acoustic guitars, 4 music workstations with up to date equipment and programmes to enable you to write and record your own music or mix your music on the DJ mixing desk. All free to use with library membership.
