The organisation was excellent, the facilities wonderful and the session perfectly pitched at upper KS2 children. It was a totally new experience for almost all of the children I brought and they all said they would love to come again. I could have sat there and watched and listened to the orchestra all day!

BBC Philharmonic’s Learning and Outreach work strives to bring exciting and innovative musical opportunities to families, schools, students, amateur musicians and members of the local community.
Through local partnerships and adventurous collaborations, we are able to offer pre-concert events, bespoke school workshops, composition based projects and professional mentoring to the next generation of orchestral players and family/community projects across Salford and the North West. Available for all ages, from KS1 through to GCSE and A Level students.
