    Young musicians take part in residency with international musician and activist Meklit Hadero

    Five young musicians from Allsorts Unplugged attended a My Hub residency which took place during October half term. Working with Ethiopian-American singer and composer Meklit Hadero, the young people explored the theme ‘My Music, My Manchester’ along with other young people from all over the city. They showcased their work at the BBC Philharmonic Studios. more

    Imogen Heap and Frink Fink: Five days from conception to worldwide release

    Brighter Sound’s latest Artistic Directors Series, led by musical and digital innovator Imogen Heap, has resulted in ten of the UK’s best up-and-coming young artists writing, recording, performing and releasing a track just five days after meeting for the first time. The track, called ‘Marble’, under the artist name Frink Frink, was created during the residency to more
